Canefire, lead by Jeremy Ledbetter is an exciting band combining elements of Calypso, Jazz, Funk, Gospel and Cuban rhythms. Recently performing at the Mod Club as part of the Eliana Cuevas and Friends Latin night, the band was recorded by the CBC. The band includes Jeremy Ledbetter, (leader and piano), Mark Mosca (Steel Pan), Alberto Suarez and Chendy Leon (Percussion), Yoser (bass), Alexis Baro (Trumpet), Eliana Cuevas (vox), and Braxton Hicks (saxophones).
Julie Kryk is an active singer/songwriter originally from Windsor, Ontario, now based in Toronto. Julie has performed with Sarah McLachlan, Nellie Furtado, Sinead O'Connor, as well as being part of 1999's Lilith Fair Concert Series. Julie has also performed in Las Vegas, as a guest with U2, an event that was featured on VH1's "A Night With".

Guitarist and Vocalist George Grosman is a fixture on the trad jazz scene in Toronto and elsewhere, performing regularly with his own duos and trios, and his bands Bohemian Swing and Music On The Corner. Organic, swinging, happy music!
Singer/songwriter Julie Kryk's workshops educate children and adults alike on the basics, and finer points of songwriting. Workshops culminate in the audience's collaborative composition and recording of an original song! Truly an exciting, educational afternoon for schools, businesses, organizations, places of worship, private groups, and municipal councils, providing them with a great experience and a song all their own! After the clinic is done, the song is produced and participants are given a professional CD recording of their collaboration with Julie Kryk.
